Iris Dalley retired as a Crime Scene Agent for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s Eastern Regional Office in 2009. She began her career with the OSBI in 1989 as a Criminalist working in Forensic Serology and Crime Scene Processing/Reconstruction. She advanced through the Criminalistics Division of the OSBI to become the Supervisor of the OSBI Eastern Regional Biology Laboratory, before transferring to the OSBI Investigative Division to become one of the first designated Crime Scene Agents. Dalley is a partner in the forensic education and consulting company Bevel, Gardner and Associates.
Dalley has a Bachelor of Science/Biology and a Master of Secondary Sciences. She has attended over 1500 hours of law enforcement/forensic training, including training in Bloodstain Pattern Analysis from the OSBI, the Oklahoma City Police Department, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, and Henderson Forensics.
Dalley holds an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate for the State of Oklahoma, and Instructor Certificate. She is certified by the International Association of Identification as a Senior Crime Scene Analyst.
Dalley has been a member of the IABPA since 1992, and is currently the President of the IABPA.
